Mumbai and Delhi. They’re beautiful, complex melting pots, as these gorgeous videos of Maximum City and the capital show. But they can also hamper us from achieving true health. Here, India @Work  sources the best ways to stay stress-free and healthy while living the urban dream

1. For some, competitive urban living is sapping away our happiness. Think about how you can inject joy back into yourself with this cheeky video. Nine secrets of happiness in 60 seconds? Yes please!

2. Why you should add ‘Dear Diary’ to your diet. Keeping a daily meal diary of your food intake can be a useful way to spot harmful snacking patterns. It may even reveal how your mood affects your diet (“Stressful day at work – ate three doughnuts in ten minutes!”).

3. Anxiety, flu, noise pollution: these are just some of the hazards of big city living, according to the UK’s Guardian newspaper, which helpfully provides some advice on how to counteract these factors.

4. Don’t forget light pollution, which experts say can be detrimental to your health(PDF). Hong Kong has been touted as one of the most light-polluted cities in the world, but as we know, Mumbai and Delhi burn pretty bright too. One professor’s solution? Buy a red light bulb for your bedroom.
