  1. Keep an eye on your diet: A healthy diet is the best weapon against heart disease, so when you're on-the-go, ensure that your body is getting the right nutrients it needs to be healthy. This includes eating a variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, poultry and fish, and nuts and legumes. If you're following a certain diet back home, it's best to stick to it even when you're traveling.
